Alisa Lova, born Alisa Ibragimova, came to the United States with her family from Russia when she was six years old. Her mother was a concert pianist and cellist back in Russia. Alisa moved to New York with her family, where she grew up and still resides. She started acting when she was 14 years old. Her first showcase was on stage at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she took her first acting classes. Alisa worked on her craft all through college. She studied Meisner and Stanislavski at Brooklyn College, where she double majored in Theatre and Psychology and got her Bachelors Degree. Her first film was "Lost In The Woods" (2011 short), where she played the lead character Erika. Other lead roles that followed were, Jenny in "Zombie Or Not Zombie", (2011 horror short), Reagan in "The Assault" (2011 thriller short), and Jane in "Love Never Dies" (2011 short). 2011 was a blooming year for Alisa, as she kept booking more and more roles in film. Next she booked a role in "Her Perfect Peace", (2011 short), where she played a character named Claire, a supporting role. Following "Kim Jong Kill" (2011 short), where she played Summer, another supporting role. At that time, she also booked her first featured role on an episode of the TV show, "Scorned: Love Kills" (episode, Never Enough), on Discovery ID channel. In 2012, Alisa booked a role in her first feature film, "Supernaturalz", where she played Maris, a carjack victim. Next came "Killer Dinner Party" (2012 short), where she played Tiffany Banks, a high society woman. Then "Love And Deception" (2012), where she played Lola Stokes, a comedic character. The director thought she was so funny playing the character of Lola that he wrote and directed a short film based on that character for Alisa, which he titled "Lola". Next came "Hibbing" (short), where she played a Russian secret double agent, a supporting role. This film made it to the Big Apple Film Festival of 2013. Her most powerful performance was in an off-Broadway play called "Visions", which is an original play about addiction and recovery, where she played Maria. The play started in treatment centers to reach out to people in recovery. It made its way to the World Convention Center, in Philadelphia, in August 2013. Then it made its way off Broadway, to the stage of NYC Hudson Guild Theatre. When she's not acting, Alisa enjoys watching horror movies, playing pool, going bowling, and playing chess with friends. She also loves traveling to exotic places. She's been to the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Cancun, and Jamaica. Alisa is grateful to have the opportunity to travel and do what she loves.
